AquaHobbies's "COLOUR BUY FISH"® colour coding system
From experience, a common problem we and most fish keepers encounter is specific compatability. This is one reason why many newcomers give up their newly found pastime after just a few weeks of disappointing and often expensive attempt in fish keeping.
The new Aqua Hobbies colour coding system is specifically designed to assist our clients when choosing their fish. It is based on five distinct colours, each encompassing a group of species with a common trait, mainly temperament and/or size.
A Green code is reserved for those species of fish which can be kept peacefully in a mixed community set up, while the colour Red , commonly associated with warning, is used for the more agressive fish or tank busters. We also have the colour Blue and Yellow & Purple for African & Tanganyikan cichids and brackish species respectively.
Of course there are species (such as the unpredictable Tiger Barbs) which don't fall easily into a distinct group! For these, we created another group marked with the colour Amber - meaning "CAUTION - please ask for advice!"
So why should you give up the hobby just because you dread spending time selecting and buying the fish for the your aquarium?
This is the Board that you can find in Aqua Hobbies
Now YOU can choose your fish using the "Aqua Hobbies" customer friendly "COLOUR BUY FISH"® coding system
